MAN MIRACULOUSLY SURVIVES HELICOPTER FALL

BLOEMFONTEIN-A -45- year old Free State man miraculously survived a fall from a flying helicopter on Wednesday.

Spokesperson for the provincial Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Sipho Towa said they received a call for an accident on a farm about 40 kilometres outside Bloemfontein on the Brandfordt road. 

Upon their arrival they found the man fell out of a helicopter. He said details about the accident are sketchy.

The patient suffered fractures to his hand and leg. 

He was stabilized and transported to Life Rosepark Hospital in Bloemfontein.
