“This behaviour is going to be investigated; the organisation cannot be reduced to a playground for anarchic and ill-disciplined behaviour. Upon conclusion of the investigation, we will ensure that this tendency is reprimanded and corrective measures are sought to put it to an end. Any behaviour that threatens the unity of our movement should not be tolerated, as it borders on desecrating our founding principles.”

Vilakazi further appealed to members of the ANC in Thabo Mofutsanyana region to exercise caution and disassociate with divisive tendencies that threaten the unity of the movement.
