Road to glory: Junior Stars and Tseki Junior Stars set for championship final

QWAQWA – The SNG Telecoms Under-13 Championship delivered thrilling young football talent at Letsha-le-Maduke’s Blackpool Sports Ground on 28 March 2026, as teams battled fiercely for a place in the final.

The day opened with a tight preliminary match where Junior Stars edged Kasi Team 1–0 to secure their spot in the knockout stages.

Quarter-final action saw Estrella FC narrowly defeat Young Stars 1–0, while Junior Birds overcame Golden Birds with a 1–0 victory.

Tseki Junior Stars showed resilience, beating Invaders FC 2–1, and Junior Stars continued their strong form with a 2–0 win over Mighty Tigers.

In the semi-finals, Tseki Junior Stars proved dominant, defeating Young Stars 3–1. Junior Stars matched that momentum, securing a confident 2–0 win against Junior Birds to book their place in the final.

The much-anticipated final between Tseki Junior Stars and Junior Stars is set for 02 May 2026, with the venue and time yet to be confirmed.

The clash promises an exciting showdown between two of the tournament’s most consistent and disciplined young teams.
