Gender Equality commission speaks on Nkunyana

QWAQWA-The spokesperson on Gender Equality Commission Javu Baloyi poured cold water on Nkunyana ‘Skuzabele’ Nkunyana’s behaviour ,whom after released on bail of R1000 for allegation of assaulting his wife, shared on his fakebook page that ‘there is two sides of a story’.


Baloyi has expressed dismayed and called it as an absurd situation that lacks remorse, instead he is using his popularity and celebrity status to garner sympathy from his followers.


“While the case is before court , it is very disturbing and absurd to see him act in this manner , using his status to fight his court battles. We have seen his Facebook message where he shared with his followers that there is two sides of the story and they he is a law-abiding citizen, He shows no remorse,” Baloyi lamented.


Reacting to her husband action Thakane Nkunyana said the truth will be heard in court when proceeding resumes on May 2 ,2024.
“He is just using his fame to garner sympathy from his followers. But that cannot change the truth and it will remain ,” said Nkunyana ‘s wife.


The controversial DJ’s wife said she has been in love with her husband since 2002 and ended marrying him and having children even before employed at Lesedi FM.
The Wife accused husband of having always been abusive and tried several interventions from friends and even at his workplace without any luck.
She accused her husband of staying with a girlfriend in Bloemfontein and coming to their house to demand their furniture.

“When I questioned that he strangled and assaulted me, ”she alleged.
Free State Police spokesperson, Brigadier Motantsi Makhele confirmed that a domestic violence case of assault was opened on Tuesday April 2, 2024, and subsequent to that a 42-year-old Nkunyana was arrested but release same day with a bail of R1000.
