Free State government launches potholes patching in Sasolburg

SASOLBURG- Premier of Free State Sefora Ntombela accompanied by Police Roads and Transport MEC William Kwekwe Bulwane  have launched operation vala zonke in Sasolburg near Vaal River on Monday August 082022, in the Metsi Maholo local municipality under the theme ‘Operation ValaZonke’.

“Launch of patching of potholes at R57 near Vaal River  is a response to the outcry abiut potholes. In the long run we will be partnering with various municipalities across the province, potholes particularly are everywhere. Action is being taken this is the year if action sivala amapotholes after six months we will be closing all potholes in the province or else MEC will pack his backs and go” Premier Ntombela

She regrated that people have died on the roads while asking community to please assist government to work together to close potholes.

“I’m very excited that most roads are busy working more especially in the Eastern Free State. We’re giving ourselves six months to close this cracks on the roads and save lives. Let us all work together to end this tragedy of potholes.”
