Calls for new FS PEC to unite the province

QWAQWA- The newly elected Free State ANC provincial executive committee face a mammoth task ahead of uniting the province as calls mount with only 24 months left before general election to be held in 2024.


While accepting her defeat to Mxolisi Dukwana , Free State Premier Sefora Ntombela who has vying chairperson position has wished him best luck but calls for him to unite the province. Mxolisi defeated Ntombela by 346 to 306.
Other members are Ketso toto Makume who has been elected as a deputy chairperson while Polediso Motsoeneng got Secretary position .Two women Dibolelo Mahlatsi and Mathabo Leeto are deputy secretary and treasurer respectively.


“After elections we must respect the one who is elected. Mxolisi is now been elected as chairperson, we must rally behind him. We should congratulate him and wish him luck and I also wanted to ask him to try by all means to unite the comrades in the Free state because we are left with few months before going to the election. If he fails to unite the province we are going to have problems.”


Ntombela confirm to have heard about complains but will wait for report in order to be able to engage on the matter.
“I am have heard that there were some complains but I will wait until I get the report about what happened inside.”
She was referring to the questioning of a looming court action by unhappy comrades about the results.


ANC NEC member deployed to Free State David Mohlobo said dissatisfaction happens every time during elective conference but they are satisfied that the team of NEC that are here.


“The credentials were indeed approved with amendments which were affected. After those with complains were listed to . The results have been accepted but there are those who might feel aggrieved for one reason or other. They must remain within court of ANC and this leadership must unite the ANC.”
