QWAQWA– The winner of the car draw  from Bibi cash and Carry win car held  on March 19 , while expressing his excitement says he is still overwhelmed and full of disbelief.

Tshepo Nkanda  from Phuthadithjaba revealing what led to his win said , “I am so excited to win this competition, I had bought groceries for R1400 and didn’t expect this. I don’t have a car so this is very overwhelming for me,” Nkanda  disclosed.

Congratulating Nkanda for his win , Matsila Maphike operations’ manager from Bibi said what makes him happy is the fact that the car has been won by someone living in Phuthditjhaba.

  “I am so delighted to see that the car is won by someone from Phuthadithjaba, last year it was won by someone from Elite,” Maphike added .

Mamoroa Makau Bibi’s marketing manager organized an auspicious event where some of their sponsors were present to celebrate with the store.

“This is an annual event that we hold for about two to three months. Last year November customers had to buy for R500 or more to stand a chance to win a brand new car.” Makau explained.

One of the sponsors of the event Mama’s Sauce was present at the event. Muhammed Sunil a representative of this brand had this to say when talking to The Guard; “We at Mama’s Sauce are very proud to support this event that is why we are here today. Bibi stocks our products.”

The day was full of festivities and performances, the audience was treated to performances from artist who came from as far has Gauteng. Dikgalala tsa Orange Farm a female group treated the audience with a wonderful performance.
