Former Qwaqwa radio presenter graduates

QWAQWA- Former Qwaqwa radio presenter who is now a taxi driver Tsietsi Msimanga who graduated in diploma in Public Management at Maluti TVET college on Thursday said working with learners prompted him to go back to school so that he can a good example.


Msimanga was a taxi driver before he enrolled with his diploma in marketing.
“Working with school going children transporting them every day challenged to go back to school. I wanted to be a living example to them how important it is to study. People think taxi drivers are not educated. I want to be a motivation to them. Today that I am graduating it is a motivation enough to persuade them into the right direction while they are still young,” Msimanga said.


He said as a bread winner, it was difficult decision to make but he knows choosing education was the best investment.
“I have lost my father and as a result I have become the bread winner looking after my mother and my sisters’ children. I know after graduating I stand a better chance to get a better job that will enable me take care of my children and family.”


Msimanga was among hundreds of learners who graduated at Maluti TVET college during an event held at Phuthaditjhaba multipurpose hall.
