FORMER FS AGRICULTURE HOD GETS BAIL

QWAQWA- Granting former  Free State Agriculture and Rural Development’s HOD, Peter Thabethe , a bail of R10 000 on Monday , state concurred with Thabethe that was in the interest of justice to release him.

Thabethe who is facing charges of fraud and money laundering at the tune of R24.9 million, a money that was develop  dairy farm in  Vred ,in the eastern Free State  famously known as Estina dairy.

He was arrested on Wednesday June 2, 2021 together co-accused Limakatso Moorosi Seipati Dlhamini and businessman Iqbal Sharma. The two Moorosi and Dlhamin were released on bail of R10 000 and were both in court on Monday. They will return to Bloemfontein magistrate on July 5.

Ex FS Agriculture and Rural Development employees, Peter Thabethe, Limakatso Moorosi, Seipati Dlhamini and businessman Iqba Sharma in Bloemfontein Magistrate Court.

Sharma remains in custody and returns to court for his bail application after the State requested for adjournment to allow for further verification of his documents.
