“We come all the way from Pretoria with this team to drive through selected schools and Kgolathuto is one of them. Here if Qwaqwa we are going to cover only three schools. We encourage people to go to TVET colleges
The department of education is a strategic partner to Maluti Tvet college to support its bid to attract potential students. Thabo Mofutsanyana district education’s Lindiwe Sedibe said:

“There is a myth that colleges are for those who not academically bright but that is not true. We are here today to dismiss that talk. It is not even a fact. For you to enroll in engineering courses you must have done maths or technical maths, and this shows that colleges are not for people who are not bright.”

Chairperson of Gauteng Free State marketing and communication forum Zulo Mbolekwa.

“Maluti Tvet college class of 2024, you are so blessed; the Tvet colleges from the whole country are here for you because they understand the importance of you getting the career of your choice come 2025. Acting Principal Tsotetsi thank you so much for coming here with your allies to motivate the class of 2024 and class of 2027. Our MEC talks about vision 2028. I am so happy that in 2027, we will be able to fulfil the promises of our MEC through you.”

Acting Principal of Maluti Tvet college Motlalepula Tsotetsi appreciated the support from the other colleges.
“We are quite aware that access and success in colleges is an integrated programme that requires proper awareness, proper career guidance and proper career package, to allow students to have a meaningful contribution in their studies.”
