Alarm: Young FS detective missing

BLOEMFONTEIN – The Free State police have launched an urgent investigation after Parkroad detective Constable Mpho Sehloho, 23, went missing this week.

Sehloho was last seen on Monday, 7 September, after leaving her home in Rocklands, Mangaung. Her whereabouts remain unknown.

“At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing blue jeans and a brown top,” said police spokesperson Captain Loraine Earle.

The young detective was only reported missing on Wednesday, 9 September, prompting police to open a formal investigation.

Captain Earle has appealed to anyone with information to come forward immediately.

Anyone who saw Constable Sehloho since Monday or knows where she may be is urged to contact Investigating Officer Constable Bernice Kiewiets – 071 825 6860; Crime Stop: 08600 10111; MySAPS App; or nearest police station Anonymous tips will be accepted.

Police say all leads are being followed as the search for the young officer continues.
