Early Christmas for stokvels

QWAQWA –With the festive season approaching fast, nobody goes home empty handed as stokvel members are treated to a celebration hosted by TFS wholesalers as a way of thanking the customers who support the store throughout the year.

When speaking to The Guard, Stella Mokoena the communication and marketing manager at TFS said:

“This day is all about giving back to our customers who save their stokvel money with us and who are always supporting our store throughout the year.”
Reahilwe funeral home and a host of suppliers got together to buy 10 sheep that were won in a raffle draw during the stokvel celebration that is organised by TFS.
There’s also going to be a competition to win a cow for stokvels and Reahilwe clients. Iketsetseng Bafumahadi a stokvel from Mangaung village were excited to win one sheep in a lucky draw.

Mathabiso Ncamane, Mami Nhlapo and Matseleng Ramaisa who are some of the ladies from the stokvel expressed jubilation and excitement after their stokvel was announced as one of the winners of the sheep prizes.

Johannes Lotseke won a huge grocery hamper that came with a traditional three-legged poitjiepot in a raffle draw sponsored by one of TFS’s suppliers.
“I am very happy to be a winner, it was a big surprise so I am very happy that my number was one of the lucky number drawn,” Lotseke said.

“October to December is stokvel season and as different suppliers we’d like to thank the customers who support TFS and buy our brands throughout the year. Now that we are heading into Christmas season, we are here at this event bringing gifts just to say thank you and encourage customers to continue buying our brands right into the back to school season,” Duke Maseko said.

Everyone at the event went home with some gift bags from the TFS suppliers.
